This past October, we celebrated out 20th wedding anniversary. Since we have four teenagers, getting away for the weekend was challenging to say the least. After our big plans of Rome, Napa Valley, or even Chicago for a long weekend fell apart... I was determined to find a romantic get away. I began looking for Bed and Breakfasts and accidentally stumbled across the Apple Gate Inn. Lynn, the innkeeper, was so genuine and helpful that I instantly knew this would be the perfect spot for us.

As we arrived, we were truly amazed at how beautiful the inn was and how simply impeccable everything was maintained. Then, we met Lynn and Bob, and we knew this place was truly their passion and a direct reflection of all their meticulous and endless hard work. The room was absolutely perfect, the breakfast was spectacular, their company endearing, and our memory of this anniversary... priceless. We biked along the Katy trail, enjoyed the simplicity of the small town, and learned quickly that Applegate Inn is truly a place where the days are unhurried...

We highly recommend this place as a relaxing, awesome getaway weekend. You will love this charming, wonderful place while you are surrounded by incredible hospitality.
